Stallings police find dozens of marijuana plants at business

Stallings police find dozens of marijuana plants at business:
Dozens of marijuana plants were found inside a Union County business.

People said they drive by the business and had no clue a marijuana-grow house was inside.

Stallings police said it's one of the biggest grow busts they've ever seen. They found it Friday night inside Emorkian Arms, a medieval supply shop.

Police say 41-year-old William Cole Meredith had more than 80 marijuana plants inside.

Stallings police chief said the marijuana-grow operation was a well-planned operation.

"The grow lights were on tracks where they would go across the room and rotate and go back," Police Chief M.E. Plyler Jr. said.

Meredith has been charged with three felonies, including intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana.

He is out of jail on a $20,000 bond.
