There are new details on Monday night about a stabbing and arson in west Charlotte.
Police said Ryan Capps sexually assaulted an elderly woman before stabbing her and setting her home on fire.
It happened on Walkers Ferry Road on Jan. 25.
The victim is expected to be OK.
