S.C. father, son get life in prison: "(By Steve Lyttle, slyttle@charlotteobserver.com) A father and his son from York, S.C., will spend the rest of their lives in prison, after their convictions in federal court on cocaine trafficking charges, according to federal prosecutors.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Silas Mobley Jr., 56, and Marvin Suntate Mobley, 32, were sentenced Thursday in Charlotte. They had been found guilty last Aug. 9 by a jury of conspiring to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute at least 5 kilograms of cocaine. The charges stem from their activities between 2004 and October 2009, prosecutors say."
