Shooting death in southwest Charlotte: "(By Steve Lyttle, slyttle@charlotteobserver.com) Witnesses say a confrontation between two men resulted in a fatal shooting Tuesday night in southwest Charlotte.
The shooting took place about 10:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Benjamin Street, in the Southside Homes area off South Tryon Street."
