Charge dismissed against Huntersville commissioner: "(By Joe Marusak, jmarusak@charlotteobserver.com) After a two-day trial, a Mecklenburg County District Court judge dismissed claims by the wife of Huntersville commissioner Ken Lucas that he assaulted her in their home Jan. 16.
The judge found the claim unwarranted and denied Angela Lucas' request for support payments, possession of the couple's home and custody of the couple's minor child."
