'Too Tall' signs speedway's video board

'Too Tall' signs speedway's video board: "(By Lukas Johnson, ljohnson@newsofcabarrus.com) Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Ed 'Too Tall' Jones was at Charlotte Motor Speedway Thursday for construction ceremonies honoring the colossal steel framework that will support the world's largest high-definition video board.

The 6-foot 9-inch All-Pro and Super Bowl champ helped place a U.S. flag on the final girder, and he autographed the beam before it was hoisted 110-plus feet and secured to the half-million pound structure. Later, he told media that he'd like to see himself tackling Joe Theismann on a screen that 'dwarfs' the one in Dallas, where Jones played in the late 70s."
