Wachovia branch changes start in June: "(By Rick Rothacker, rrothacker@charlotteobserver.com) Wachovia customers will start noticing changes in Carolinas branches in June as the bank prepares for a fall switch to the Wells Fargo & Co. name.
The San Francisco-based bank, which bought Wachovia in 2008, plans to repaint all branches, add new furniture and make other minor tweaks ahead of the final sign changes, Charlotte market president Kendall Alley said in an interview on Friday."
